The Silent Parade

On the First of May Constitution Avenue was made full with people. Rows and rows of semi trucks lined both sides of the street. Some were decorated with American flags others with Puerto Rican flags. Men and women held signs that read “Support the Workers, Stand with Workers, Equal Rights for Workers.” Some drivers sat inside the cabs blaring horns, others caught in the middle silently waited and joined the traffic. If there are words, to be said you couldn’t hear it.
